Probing Proboscis!
A pleasant stroll through the sunny rides at the Gainfield Warren gave me marvellous views of my first Silver-Washed Fritllaries of the year.

Ring-Necked Dove, pull the other one its got bells on.
With difficult weather it has been hit and miss to locate interesting wildlife but I have posted a few bits and pieces from my recent forays into the Oxon countryside.

Some pics to test you.
With the present relatively quiet birding time of year I am posting a few photos to test your identification skills most are fairly easy but not all and there is no prize for getting them right apart from the warm feeling of self satisfaction.
